Founding member of Mercury prize nominees Young Disciples, Femi Fem has DJ’ed for George Clinton, Prince, Gil Scot-Heron, Janet Jackson, Stella McCartney, Ozwald Boateng & Jade Jagger. Playing party jams and mixing up grooves across Funk Acid Jazz Disco Hip Hop House Afrobeats and a touch of Reggae.

DJ: TOLULAH BRINGS THE GLAMOUR TO THIRTEEN

Tolula Adeyemi is an international actress, DJ, model & professional jetsetter— a perennial favorite of fashionistas, musos & cinephiles on both sides of the Atlantic (or the “pond,” to which she might affectionately refer it). Consistently dubbed one of “Britain’s Best Dressed” by the likes of Vogue & Harper’s Bazaar, it’s no surprise that she also happens to be one of Vivienne Westwood’s longtime muses. In her capacity as a highly sought-after DJ, Tolula is a regular on the London, NYC & LA nightlife circuits. She currently serves as music ambassador for legendary nightlife entrepreneur Amy Sacco’s global Bungalow 8.

LIVE: INTRODUCING 'DENMARK STREET SESSIONS'

A series of live performances, exhibitions, pop ups and talks all centred around music and culture. Taking place across Denmark Street in its stores, bars, clubs and apartments - along London’s only real music street. Live gigs, open houses and series of intimate shows – ‘Sessions’ itself is a commitment by us, the folks on Denmark Street, to celebrate our story, history and most importantly - tomorrow. Read more.
For a snapshot of what to expect, Jay Mehler (Kasabian, Beady Eye) will share stories and sounds in an intimate talk & performance at No.Tom (6pm). Bringing a raw energy to Thirteen at Chateau Denmark, rocknroll DJ Amazonica (The Libertines, Grandmaster Flash & Machine Gun Kelly) will spin throughout the night. Piano icon Jim Brickman performs live at Roland (6pm). Farsight Gallery will be hosting a selection of unsigned and independent live bands such as Muck Spreader, Silkarmour plus more late into the night. Alongside this, there will be a stunning exhibition documenting underground London raves by young photographer Yushy, plus a Q&A with author Stef Macbeth and journalist Emma Warren around Stef's new book 'FOLK'. A huge variety of intimate gigs, exhibitions and performances will also be available across the stores including Rough Trade with acoustic performances from Celeste Madden and Just Kids. Regent Sounds will have special guests performing alongside Beautifully Romanticised Accidentally Traumatised, and Sixty Sixty Sounds. In addition, there will be pop up performances and appearances from secret guests. Marc Hayward (onstage guitarist Black Sabbath - The Ballet) will deliver an acoustic set at Dram (8pm), while Hot Property light up Thirteen (4pm) with a blend of acoustic and DJ sets followed by Pink Juice and then headlining - Lava La Rue.

In addition Dawsons will be hosting a talk featuring jewellery designer Hannah Martin, bespoke tailor and menswear designer Sir Tom Baker and Elle Shoel, creative director of Beautifully Romanticised Accidentally Traumatised - moderated by creative director, writer and author of the acclaimed book ‘Nothin’ But A Good Time: The Spectacular Rise and Fall of Glam Metal’ - Justin Quirk - to book a space [email protected]. Meanwhile, Sixty Ink will offer an exclusive collection of flash tattoos inspired by the musical history of the street and food and drink will be served throughout the day and night from the street’s standout hospitality operators.

DJ: DJ MELECH PLAYS THE GOOD TIMES
Fri 19th Sept, from 9pm
A regularly across the London circuit as well as private parties throughout the UK and Europe. Melech previously ran the DRM RLL PLS club night which saw him host room 2 at Bugged Out, playing alongside DJs such as Tiga, Basement Jaxx and Flying Lotus. He also took DRM RLL PLS to Bestival and hosted a show on Soho Radio between 2018-2020. Blending house and disco.
